Guest Lecture by Soohyun Um

Soohyun Um received his PhD in natural product chemistry from the College of Pharmacy at Seoul National University. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forest Products and Biotechnology at Kookmin University. His research focuses on natural product chemistry, microbial biotransformation, and chemical ecology of bioactive metabolites, with particular interest in metabolomics-guided discovery and microbial metabolism of plant-derived compounds.
