Description and objectives:
The aim of the project is to strengthen research cooperation between the Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Lesy ČR. The project will harness the potential of AI, machine learning and nanomaterials in combination with biotechnologies for applications in forestry and the protection of forest ecosystems. The results will be further developed and transferred into practice. The project includes the implementation of three research objectives, joint preparation of follow-up project proposals, acquisition of essential research equipment, and involvement of representatives from the application sphere in educational activities.
