Research interests

My main research interest is on applying ecological models on fish population to forecast the effects of climate change, fishing pressure and management strategies on ecologically or commercially relevant fish species. I am also interested in the use of otoliths to extract information on habitat use of fish, growth conditions and stock discrimination using this natural data loggers. Furthermore I am looking for the use of telemetry systems to understand the spatial and seasonal behavior of fishes.
