Postdoc in the project: Mechanisms of growth and survival in freshwater oligotrophs (MEGASO). Interested in the ecology of environmental microbial communities. Currently focusing on culturing, metagenomics, and metatranscriptomics of freshwater oligotrophs and the mechanisms behind their growth and survival. Previous research includes wheat rhizosphere microbial communities, metagenomics of retting hemp, and greenhouse gas fluxes of agricultural fields.
