"Sarah's project aims to quantify the impact of habitat loss and fragmentation on the genetic diversity and adaptive potential of threatened butterflies. For this, Sarah uses comparative and population genomics approaches to estimate demography, population structure, gene flow, and inbreeding, to assess environmental predictors of genome-wide changes, including climate, land use, and vegetation cover."
