Brief Profile
Kristýna has been working in the Laboratory of Parasitic Therapy since her second year of study at the University of South Bohemia (USB). During bachelor studies she completed the program Biology and her scientific project (bachelor thesis) was focused on diagnostics of opportunistic intestinal protist Giardia intestinalis. She is currently continuing in master studies (program Parasitology) and still focuses on G. intestinalis, optimizing its diagnosis and prevalence in the Czech Republic. She also received a student grant from the Student Grant Agency (USB) for 2020.
