Overview:

The Laboratory of Electron Microscopy provides open-access services in the field of electron microscopy for cell biology and structural biology: ranging from the selection of appropriate preparation methods, and imaging technology to image processing and analysis. We have experience with a variety of sample types ranging from molecules to multicellular organisms.

Our publications

Together with the M. Šlouf, Strachota groups (IMC CAS), Krzyzanek team (ISI CAS), ThermoFisher Scientific, NenoVision and Crytur, we are collaborating on the development of conductive resins for SBF-SEM, 3D cryo-EM workflow on large volume samples, the use of cathodoluminescence signal and AFM in SEM.

Our laboratory participates in: CZBI and Prague node of Euro-BioImaging which support access to the imaging services available here. Isidore Project, CZBI-Open-acces.
