As a hydrobiologist, my professional pursuits revolve around two key areas: (1) the ecology of fish populations across diverse environments and (2) the dynamics of greenhouse gas fluxes in freshwater ecosystems. I specialize in employing advanced underwater acoustic techniques to explore these domains comprehensively.

In addition to my proficiency with scientific echosounders and acoustic imaging systems, my skill set extends to both active and passive fish capture methodologies, encompassing various netting techniques and electrofishing, as well as field sampling of diffusive and ebullitive greenhouse gas fluxes.

My active involvement spans numerous research projects dedicated to the quantitative and qualitative analysis of fish communities and the dynamics of greenhouse gases in large inland and marine waters. This collaborative work has taken me across European landscapes, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, and Spain.

Beyond my research endeavors, I am committed to the effective communication and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
